• Basic Needs Case Management serves low- and moderate-income residents of Centre County who are experiencing a short-term basic needs crisis. Our Case Managers provide personalized support focused on immediate needs while helping individuals work toward long-term stability.

    Support includes emotional support, advocacy, and referral to available resources and funding within Centre County.

  • The program may be able to assist with:

    • Short-term rent and utility assistance

    • Other financial concerns related to basic needs

    • Budget counseling and financial education

    • Goal setting to increase stability and sustainability

    • Referrals to community agencies for food, housing, shelter, clothing, furniture, financial assistance, and specialized case management

    Call 814-237-5855 or 988 to speak with a Centre Helps hotline volunteer. The volunteer will listen to your needs, provide information, and help determine eligibility for the Basic Needs Case Management Program.
