IT/Data Specialist: Centre Helps seeks a Senior IT/Data Specialist to lead the organization's technology infrastructure and data systems. This role sits at the intersection of IT operations and data management, ensuring staff have secure, reliable tools to do their work and that program, grant, and outcomes data are accurate, well-organized, and available for decision-making. The position reports directly to the CEO and carries significant independent responsibility for both day-to-day IT support and the maintenance and/or design of data systems that support Centre Helps' upstream crisis prevention mission, including the 988 crisis hotline, basic needs case management, and youth programming.
Finance/Operations Director: Centre Helps seeks a Finance/Operations Director to lead the organization's financial management and operational infrastructure. Reporting to the Executive Director and serving on the senior leadership team, this role carries primary responsibility for budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and audit readiness, along with oversight of core operational functions that keep Centre Helps running smoothly. The Finance/Operations Director plays a key role in ensuring the organization's financial health supports its upstream crisis prevention mission, including basic needs case management, the 988 crisis hotline, and youth programming, and that funders, the Board, and staff have accurate, timely financial information.
Training Director: The Training Director is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining training for staff and volunteers who staff Centre Helps' crisis and resource lines, including the 988 crisis line and the Local Resource Line. This role ensures that all counselors and support staff are fully prepared to respond to callers with consistency, competence, and care — from initial onboarding through ongoing skill development. The Trainer plays a key role in maintaining service quality, supporting counselor confidence and retention, and ensuring compliance with 988/Vibrant Emotional Health, ICH, and other applicable standards.
988 Counselors: The Hotline Counselor provides immediate, compassionate, confidential, short-term counseling, information, and referrals to community members reaching out via phone, text, or chat. Counselors support individuals seeking emotional support, crisis intervention, and access to basic needs resources. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, emotional resilience, and the ability to work independently during weekend and evening shifts.
