History

For 45 years we have continually assisted Centre County residents in crisis.

A United Way partner and member of the Community Safety Net, Centre Helps has assisted people in crisis since 1972. From On Drugs (1972) to Well Spring (1995) to Community Help Centre (2001), we have made a difference in the lives of Centre County residents for 45 years. To celebrate our 45th anniversary in 2017, we are simplifying our name to Centre Helps. Our motto is: Empowering Lives on the Line.
